Shiuli Artisan DOO is a company from Belgrade. I'm Ivana. I lived in India for 12 years, and I import Madake towels directly from the manufacturer and sell them in Serbia. Our first product is the Madake thin towel made of 100% bamboo fibre – known for its softness and absorbency.

To make the towels last for years, we recommend:
– Wash before first use.
– Machine wash at 40°C, or 60°C if they get really dirty.
– No fabric softener: it reduces absorbency, just like with cotton towels.
– Avoid bleach and harsh chemicals, unless they are really badly stained.
– Tumble dryer is fine. Good news: the more you use them, the softer they get.

Standard size, 160 × 75 cm, and it weighs about 250 g – roughly half as light as an ordinary towel.

It is thin and smooth, and it absorbs more than terry, so the first touch feels different from an ordinary towel. Wash it before first use, without fabric softener.

Yes, a little – but the wrinkles disappear as soon as you start using them. I love ironing everything, these towels especially. They iron at almost the highest setting and one pass is enough – they look freshly woven. In practice, most people don't mind the wrinkles at all – they look natural and lovely even without ironing.

If you use it regularly and look after it properly, a towel will last for years. I've used mine for six years, I wash them and dry them in the machine, and they are all softer than at the start. Of course, if you use it as a towel and not as a mat for the dog's bowl or a picnic blanket.

They are very soft and smooth to the touch, so many parents choose them for their children. Wash before first use, like any new textile.

Not in my experience. No surprises in the washing machine.

Yes, you can mix all the colours however you like, and all cost the same. I know, it's not easy – when you like them all, which one first? Delivery is free for 5 or more towels. The only exception is colours that are nearly sold out, which are not discounted.

We ship most orders the same day, and at the latest the next working day. We don't ship at weekends. The parcel arrives in 1–2 working days. We ship with the BEX courier service; delivery is 390 RSD, and free for 5 or more towels.

Cash on delivery, to the courier when your parcel arrives (cash or card). If it's easier, you can also pay by bank transfer – write to us for the details.

We need your email for the invoice and delivery updates. Now and then I send news and offers. If you don't want those emails, write to peskiri@shiuli.rs and I'll take you off the list.

Of course. I'm in Vračar – message me on Viber or WhatsApp at 061 788 6979 to arrange it. Pickup is free, and payment is by bank transfer.

Of course! You have 30 days from delivery to return a towel that doesn't suit you. The only condition is that it isn't stained or dirty. We refund the full amount, including delivery. If the parcel arrived damaged or faulty, contact ivana@shiuli.rs and we'll send a new one or refund you. Other questions: peskiri@shiuli.rs
